Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant equipment to ensure smooth process in ISBL and UT/WWTP areas.
• Sample products (crude and final), UT and WWTP samples.
• Take log reports/field log sheets for ISBL and Utilities/WWTP; record activities in logbook.
• Operate valves, pumps and process equipment.
• Conduct routine checks on all machines.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in designated areas.
• Carry out safety awareness and inspect all safety equipment regularly.
• Serve on Plant Emergency/Fire Brigade and handle emergencies.
• Report any abnormality to supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Sampling of product (crude and final), UT and WWTP samples;

Assist to take log report/field log sheet for ISBL and Utilities/WWTP and also record all activities in logbook;

Operate valves, pumps and process equipment's;

Routine check on all machines;

Responsible for safety and housekeeping in designated areas;

Performing duties with safety awareness all times and regularly carry out inspection on all safety equipment in the area;

Serves on the Plant Emergency/Fire Brigade and understands how to handle emergencies that arise;

Report for any abnormality;

All other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement:

At least Diploma in Chemical or relevant qualification.

At least 3 years related working experience.

Competent person for Authorized Entrant and Standby Person for Confined Space (AESP) or Authorized Gas Tester and Entry Supervisor (AGTES).
