Job summary

Actiforce Mechatronics Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to manage day-to-day operations related to equipment, jigs and fixtures in production and to ensure safe, efficient operation and quality output.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in engineering with at least 5 years in manufacturing, good knowledge of BOMs, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanics and fixtures. Proficiency in English or Bahasa Malaysia is desirable.

Qualifications

• Require a minimum of certificate holder or diploma in any engineering fields or relevant experience in the engineering manufacturing field for minimum 5 years.
• Understanding of mechanical designs and mass production.
• Process troubleshooting/Mechanical fixture troubleshooting.
• Understanding of bill of materials (BOMs).
• Work with engineering principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on day to day operations issues related to equipment, jigs and fixtures at production
• Generate documentations related to engineering
• Perform and maintain equipment, jigs and fixtures so they operate safely and efficiently to produce quality products
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Manage, track and follow up inventory for spare part listing
• Follow and initiate action given by superior and department lead
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping at workstation at all times
• Comply with safety at work requirements at all times
• Collect time study for assembly process
• Assist NPI team for New Product Introduction (NPI)

Job description

To ensure line running with no interruption in terms of process/fixture related issues. The role involves managing day-to-day operations related to equipment, jigs and fixtures at production, performing and maintaining equipment to operate safely and efficiently, and generating engineering documentation.

Key responsibilities

Follow up on day to day operations issues related to equipment, jigs and fixtures at production

Generate documentations related to engineering

Perform and maintain equipment, jigs and fixtures so they operate safely and efficiently to produce quality products

About you
