Job summary

Clarion (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Engineer in Penang to develop and optimize backend semiconductor packaging processes. You will define machine parameters, recipes and tooling to meet product specs, while tracking UPH, cycle time, yield and process capability across production ramps.

The role requires hands-on experience with Tape & Reel, De-Tape or Tray-to-Tray, plus a solid grounding in process control, defect analysis and SOP documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Tape & Reel, De-Tape, Tray-to-Tray or backend processes.
• Experience with vacuum sealing or semiconductor packing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, set up and optimize Tape & Reel, De-Tape and Tray-to-Tray processes.
• Define and control machine recipes, process parameters, tooling setup and product requirements.
• Establish and monitor UPH, cycle time, yield and process capability.
