Job summary

Amphenol TCS (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Process Engineer to drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions for non-conforming materials highlighted by production. You will coordinate with production when issues link to the line and provide technical assistance to resolve operation problems.

You will participate in continuous improvement, develop and document SOPs, PFMEA, and ensure high quality. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiar with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
• At least 2 years related working experience in SMT assembly processes field is preferred.
• Familiar with IPC standards.
• Experience in AOI operation/ line support activity (good to have).
• Strong team player with leadership ability to lead and focus on daily results.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Root cause finding, corrective & preventive action for non-conforming materials highlighted by production.
• Coordinate between production if issue link to production line.
• Provide technical assistance and support related to operation issue.
• Participate in continuous improvement process.
• Develops & documents standard operating procedures, process flow chart, control plant & PFMEA to maintain highest process & product quality.
• Communicate, coordinate, work closely with cross functional departments (QA/Purchasing/ Engineering) in problem resolution.
• Collaborate with the supplier to clarify inquiry requirements and discuss design specifications.
• Support & work with NPI engineer on new product introduction.
