Job summary

Inter Island Group Pte Ltd. in Penang invites a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing capability and drive cost-effective production methods. You will lead DOE studies, perform root-cause analyses, and help implement new processes on the production line.

Fresh graduates are welcome with full training provided, while diploma holders with 2-3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Fluent English required; Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (fresh graduates welcome).
• Diploma holders with 2-3 years relevant manufacturing experience encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Study, test, and evaluate new manufacturing methods to improve process capability and yield.
• Plan and execute DOEs to optimize process parameters.
• Investigate root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in setting up SOPs, process parameters, and safety guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material usage and costs.
