Company Background:

The company is a prominent provider of sensory experience solutions with expertise in various core technologies including semiconductor. The company is located in Senai, Johor. Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure stable production processes by minimizing abnormalities, defects, and rework.
• Improve productivity and efficiency through effective optimization of process layouts and parameters.
• Perform quality analysis and implement improvement actions to reduce defects and increase yield.
• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to support smooth transition from R&D to mass production.
• Create, update, and maintain standardized process documentation (WI, SOP, process parameters).
• Lead or support continuous improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency projects in compliance with ISO/IATF standards.
• Utilize process and quality analysis tools (FMEA, 5Why, SPC, DOE) to enhance process stability and resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators to strengthen capabilities and ensure process excellence.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• At least 1 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment (optics, semiconductor, electronics, or precision components preferred).
• Practical experience in production line optimization, yield improvement, and compliance with quality systems.

Report to Senior Process Manager (based in China)
Business Unit: Sensor and Semiconductor

Working hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (5 days works)

Salary Range: RM4k -RM6k
