Job summary

Wolfspeed is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer based in Ipoh, Malaysia. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability and quality of power products. You will lead equipment setup and process changes while ensuring best practices are followed.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing with a Bachelor's in Engineering, strong communication skills, and knowledge of engineering tools such as FMEA and SPC. Continuous improvement experience is a plus.

Ramp new products released from R&D while monitoring performance and driving improvements.* Create and update detailed documentation for processes and procedures.* Direct and manage design implementation of required process changes and modifications.* Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.* Work directly with contract manufacturing engineering and manufacturing personnel and equipment suppliers.* Prevent quality excursions, monitor process performance, and compile and analyze data to detect any process or product anomalies* Identify and implement items for improvement including upgrades to equipment and processJob Requirement* 3 years or more of experience in a manufacturing field with Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Process, or Industrial Engineering or Applied Science* Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaborative and project management skills with demonstrated ability to identify manufacturing improvements, manage changes and implement solutions.
