Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a senior engineering professional to lead excursion management, yield optimization and continuous improvement in a high-volume semiconductor environment. You will perform cross-functional analysis, run DOEs, and implement process improvements across assembly and test lines.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–7 years in electronics/manufacturing. Strong data analytics and SPC/FMEA/CAPA knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial or related).
• 5–7 years in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing or high-volume production with excursion management.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and process simulation software.
• Strong data-driven decision making and cross-functional communication.
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, CAPA, DOE, APC risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead excursion management and coordinate with cross-functional teams to close issues.
• Oversee yield management for products across assembly and test processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for commonality analysis by product/design/process/machine/material.
• Conduct DOEs and apply statistical methods to solve problems.
• Set up and improve assembly processes, focusing on die attach equipment.
• Manage production line excursions, abnormal cases, and cost-reduction projects.
• Track metrics and document process changes and improvements.
• Use process simulation to test production strategies and support implementation.
