FERROTEC POWER SEMICONDUCTOR MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Pasir Gudang, Johor, seeks a Process Engineer to optimise manufacturing processes and uphold quality standards.

The role is full-time at our modern facility, with responsibilities spanning DCB/AMB sintering, laser cutting, and surface treatment processes. The candidate should possess a degree in process/chemical engineering or related fields, with strong SPC, lean manufacturing and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Process Engineer position.
• Strong understanding of process engineering principles, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience in process optimization, equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to communicate well in Mandarin when dealing with Chinese stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process status, assess impact of changes in process parameters on products, and verify their reasonableness.
• Development of new products and processes.
• Regularly evaluate processes or control plans, formulate technical and process documents and standards, and update on-site SOPs and related documents (FMEA, etc.).
• Establish product quality and related inspection standards.
