Job summary

Actmax Limited is seeking a Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes in a manufacturing environment in Malaysia. You will create PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, and equipment guidelines, and manage scale-up from lab to production while ensuring reproducible results.

You will apply SPC, Six Sigma, and RCA to reduce variation, analyze data for throughput improvement, and lead cross-functional teams through root-cause analyses and validation studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required with progression in Process/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience applying statistical methods to solve manufacturing problems.
• Strong knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs and process mapping techniques.
• Proficiency in SPC, CpK and RCA to drive improvements.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems and formal process validation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes with detailed PFDs and P&IDs; specify equipment.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operation guidelines.
• Lead transfer and scale-up from lab to full production with robust results.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and reduce costs.
• Apply SPC and Six Sigma to monitor variables and reduce variation.
• Lead RCA with cross-functional teams and implement corrective actions.
• Document IQ/OQ/PQ validation studies for new equipment/processes.
• Develop PFMEA and Control Plans to mitigate risks.
• Ensure processes comply with OSHA, ISO 9001 and industry standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify upgrade needs.
