Job summary

ACTMAX SDN. BHD. seeks a Process Engineer to design, implement and optimize industrial processes in a manufacturing setting, translating design requirements into repeatable, reliable procedures.

You will develop PFDs and P&IDs, SOPs, and scale‑up processes from lab to full production, while applying SPC, Six Sigma and RCA to improve throughput and quality. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechatronics Engineering and hands‑on experience with ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Progressive experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Production supervision.
• Experience applying statistical methods to solve manufacturing problems.
• Expert knowledge of PFDs and P&IDs and process mapping techniques.
• Proficiency in SPC, CpK, and RCA.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and process validation protocols.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt desirable; PE license a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new manufacturing processes, including generating detailed PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and equipment operating guidelines
• Manage the transfer and scale‑up of processes from lab/pilot to full production
• Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve throughput and reduce costs
• Apply SPC and Six Sigma to monitor process variables and drive continuous improvement
• Lead cross‑functional teams to conduct RCA of issues and implement corrective actions
• Conduct Process Validation studies (IQ, OQ, PQ) to qualify new equipment and processes
• Develop PFMEA and Control Plans to mitigate risks
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety (OSHA), and ISO 9001 standards
• Monitor equipment performance and plan upgrades or replacements as needed
