Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking an Engineer Process to join our Research & Development team. You will perform process engineering and sustainment for PVD processes and tools, collaborating across manufacturing, maintenance, and quality to reduce disruptions and drive improvements.

The role requires 1–3 years in semiconductor processing, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, and good English communication. Shift work in a clean-room environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry or similar.
• Bachelor's or Master degree in engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Chemical)
• Good English communication; able to interact with all levels of staff
• Able to work in a shift pattern inside a clean room environment

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering and production line sustaining for PVD process and tool.
• Collaborate across Manufacturing / Maintenance / UPE / LBS / Technology / Quality to resolve issues and reduce disruptions.
• Support tool installations and process ramp, technology transfers to meet targets and follow ramp process.
• Perform FMEA and risk assessment of process changes with change management.
• Ensure robustness of processes with APC, SPC and other process control tools.
• Manage recipe and procedural control; develop and maintain process ramp; operation specs and OCAP.
• Initiate and support excursion prevention, cost reduction and quality improvement projects
