Job summary

Knowles Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Process Engineer to own high-volume stamping processes from feasibility through mass production.

You will optimize press settings, tooling, lubrication, and process controls while leading structured problem solving and continuous improvement activities. The role requires 2–5 years in precision metal stamping, strong knowledge of sheet-metal behavior, PFMEA, control plans, and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with hands-on stamping experience.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA and process-capability analysis.
• Proficiency in engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-up and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, validate and sustain stamping processes for new and existing products.
• Define optimal press settings, die setup parameters and lubrication requirements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions using 8D/PDCA.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, setup reduction and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate trials, tool changes, and maintenance with internal/external teams.
• Ensure documentation, drawings, PFMEA, control plans and validation records are up to date.
• Support audits and provide technical training to operators and production staff.
