Job summary

Likom CMS is seeking a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to develop line layouts, process flow charts and work instructions for metal stamping. You will establish process management and control plans for production runs, and design jig and fixtures to support production and QA for process improvements.

You will assist the production supervisor by preparing training materials for inspectors and operators of new products, investigate quality issues, set press machine parameters, plan pilot runs,

Responsibilities

• Develop line layouts, process flow charts and work instructions for metal stamping.
• Establish process management plan and control plan for production runs in metal stamping.

Job description

• Develop line layout, process flow chart and work instruction for metal stamping.
• To establish process management plan and control plan for product run in metal stamping.
• Design and fabricate jig & fixture for production and QA department for work improvement and in-process quality control.
• To assist production supervisor in preparing training materials to train production inspectors & operators for new products.
• To perform investigation to solve problems that affect product quality.
• To establish process parameters for press machines.
• To plan and co-ordinate pilot run activity for new products and materials for process improvement.
• To monitor production yield for press stamping and improve accordingly.
• To oversee spot welding equipment and copper block are maintained accordingly to preventive maintenance schedule.

Requirement:

• Candidates must possess Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Candidates with working experience will be added advantage.
• Possess skills in identifying problems, analysis and problem solving.
