Job summary

LEM in Malaysia seeks an experienced process engineer to define the manufacturing process strategy, oversee solution development and drive efficient production ramp-ups on our assembly lines. The role requires strong technical acumen and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

You will adapt equipment for new product references, ensure quality and compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across an international setting to achieve targets and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in process implementation projects for assembly/ electronics or automotive.
• 2D/3D Mechanical CAD experience.
• Automotive Quality Core Tools knowledge (APQP, Control Plan, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Strong technical project management and lean manufacturing.
• Problem solving skills (Shainin, 6 Sigma), structured and pragmatic.
• Fluency in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Define the manufacturing process strategy.
• Coordinate the process solution development / manufacturing and the implementation.
• Supervise the ramp-up of the production lines until efficiency targets are reached.
• Adapt the equipment to allow the production of new product references.
