Job summary

A manufacturing firm in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia seeks a Process Engineer to monitor processes, improve quality, and implement new technologies on the production line.

Responsibilities include developing SOPs, driving cost-saving projects, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards; willingness to train in China for 6 months and rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes.
• Experience with PCB and semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
• Willingness to train in China for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process statuses and analyze impact of parameter changes on product quality.
• Lead development of new products and processes from concept to implementation.
• Develop technical documents and SOPs ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Establish product quality standards and inspection protocols.
• Manage and update process documents for manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate production activities and drive improvement projects to enhance yield and efficiency.
• Track and analyze production line issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Drive projects related to technical improvements, cost savings, and new technologies.
• Provide input on trial products and guide production line through implementation and tracking results.
