Job summary

Inter Island Group Pte Ltd. seeks a Process Engineer in Penang to optimize manufacturing capability, drive process improvements, and analyze root causes of defects. You will implement cost-effective production methods and work on new process rollouts on the production line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma with relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving abilities.
• English fluency; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement & Evaluation: study, test, and evaluate new manufacturing methods to elevate capabilities and yield.
• DOE: plan and execute DOEs to optimize process parameters.
• Technical Root-Cause Analysis: investigate root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
• SOPs: assist in establishing machine procedures, parameters, and safety guidelines.
• Cost Optimization: identify opportunities to reduce material usage and source lower-cost alternatives.
• New Process Implementation: lead rollout and validation of new processes on the production line.
