Job summary

RP Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking engineers to provide process engineering expertise and support for safe, efficient unit operations.

You will perform process design and simulation to achieve orderly plant operations and lead long-term efficiency enhancements. Responsibilities include reviewing critical parameters, troubleshooting, and applying RCFA tools, while participating in HSSE initiatives and risk assessments (HAZOP, PHA, MOC, LOPA, What If, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for senior engineer; fresh graduates for junior engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering expertise and support for safe, efficient unit operation.
• Perform process design and simulation to achieve orderly plant operations.
• Review critical plant parameters, investigate abnormalities, and drive corrective actions using RCFA tools.
• Develop and implement process optimization programs and document improvements.
• Perform material balance for plant modifications and coordinate with Operations for implementation.
• Contribute to HSSE initiatives and ensure safety integration in process design.
• Participate in risk assessment studies (HAZOP, PHA, MOC, LOPA, etc.).
