Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Environmental/Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in related field.
• Familiar with Mass & Energy Balance.
• Self-driven, proactive and able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Leadership, communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both oral and written.
• Able to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations, monitor key process parameters and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure stable and efficient plant performance in line with operational targets.
• Analyze plant performance data and optimize treatment processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance output quality.
• Liaise with technology providers, consultants, and contractors for technical support and upgrades.
• Ensure full compliance with Malaysian environmental regulations, including requirements from the Department of Environment Malaysia and local authorities.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out effectively.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning for plant operations.
