Strong skills in process plant engineering, safety, P&ID interpretation and project coordination are essential. Responsibilities include developing P&IDs and layout plans, performing sizing calculations, reviewing vendor documents, and coordinating with Operations, Maintenance and HSE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 5+ years in chemical, petrochemical, process or manufacturing plants.
• Senior or junior roles based on experience.
• Strong knowledge of process plant engineering, equipment, piping and plant utilities.
• Good understanding of process safety, HSE requirements and risk management.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, datasheets, layouts and engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&ID and Layout Plan.
• Conduct calculations and equipment sizing for chemical, mechanical and E&I systems.
• Support process design, material balance and equipment selection.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant capacity, reliability and energy efficiency.
• Review documents from consultants, contractors or vendors.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, HSE and vendors.
• Participate in HAZOPs and JSA.
• Prepare RFQ documents and vendor evaluations.
• Schedule and track progress, quality control and reporting.
• Site installation supervision and commissioning activities.
