Job summary

Foxconn Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Johor, invites a Process Engineer to join our highly automated production environment. You will lead a team and drive equipment performance, reliability and new line startups.

The role requires strong mechanical, pneumatic and electrical knowledge, plus hands-on experience with AB servo motors, AB drives, Omron PLCs and related control systems. You will excel in problem solving, vendor liaison and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.

Job description

Process Engineer (Based in Kulai, Johor)

We are seeking for suitable candidates to apply for Process Engineer in our convenient, team work environment at Kulai, Johor

You will play an important role to:

Lead and manage a team

Develop the necessary technical competencies and equipment capabilities

Establish plans and strategies

Manage preventive maintenance and calibration.

Provide guidance and training to the team

Ensure smooth startup of new equipment

Establish all equipment specifications, troubleshooting and PM procedures

Liaise with equipment vendors and spare parts suppliers

Manage equipment servicing contracts with suppliers

Drive the team to participate in all continuous improvement projects

Analyze and troubleshoot highly automated machines

To work with internal and external partners & institutes

Systematic use of methods (e.g. 8D, DOE, FMEA, SPC, Fishbone Diagram, Trend Chart and etc) and tools to enhance results interpretation, including proper documentation

Ensure compliance to company policies and standards

Any other reasonable task assigned by superior or management

To be succesful in this role, you will need to have:

Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.

Minimum 2 year working experience in equipment, maintenance or tooling engineering will be an added advantage

Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems

Inkjet knowledge (advantage)

Experience with AB servo motors, AB drive, pneumatics, AB PLC, Omron

PLC, Epson Robot, island view, panel view software (advantage)

Strong problem-solving & analytical skills with good knowledge in Cpk &

statistics by using engineering tools.

Good leadership/presentation/communication/team building skills.

Self-motivated, hands on and good team player

Ability to work under pressure
