Job summary

Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang, Batu Kawan, seeks a senior process engineering professional to establish build sequences and workflows on the production floor. You will create work instructions, assess jigs and tools, and perform PFMEA and control plans to manage risk and ensure quality.

You will lead process improvements, train staff, and collaborate with engineering, material, PM and MIS on BOM changes, while ensuring ISO compliance and safety practices across the facility.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in a cleanroom environment, semiconductor industry preferred.
Experience managing security personnel, vendors and contractors.
Familiar with manufacturing facility security and regulatory.
Good planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
ISO standards knowledge and compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

Establish build sequence and production workflow.
Create Work Instruction of the required process in the production floor.
Assess the required jig, fixture and tools.
Create PFMEA, control plan and risk assessment.
Provide inputs and support IE to optimize production layout.
Provide solutions and support for quality issue affecting production deliveries.
Liaise with engineering, material, PM and MIS on BOM/ drawing/design changes/issues.
Enhance processing techniques and methods applied in production floor.
Drive and develop new process improvements to reduce cost and increase productivity.
Provide training to production staff on the process, work instruction and improvement implementation to the production floor.
Analysis of production data for productivity improvement.
Lead/guide/train Process Engineer level 1,2,3 on process engineering and line improvement.
Comply with all requirements of ISO and adhere to safety practices, SOPs and guidelines.
Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering field or equivalent years to related experience.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in a cleanroom environment. Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
