Job summary

Intercontinental Specialty Fats Sdn. Bhd. (ISF) in Port Klang is seeking a quality-focused professional to develop and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet our policy and production standards.

The role requires a degree in Food Science/Technology or related fields, 2 years' experience in food/oleo chemicals, and strong analytical, leadership, and teamwork skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Food Science/Tech, Chemistry or related Engineering fields.
• 2 years of experience in Food/Chemical/Oil & Fats or Oleo Chemical processing preferred (fresh graduates welcome).
• Analytical, leadership, interpersonal skills and active team player.
• Knowledge of food safety or food technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet company policy.
• Ensures process control parameters are monitored and controlled throughout production.

Job description

Develops and implements the Quality Management System (QMS) program to ensure it is effective to meet the company's QMS Policy.

To ensure all the process control parameters are appropriately controlled and monitored throughout the production process.

Initiates appropriate corrective and preventive action in response to any identified non-conformances, complaints, and potential food safety hazards.

To ensure that all production personnel follow the established food hygiene and safety programmes.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Food Science/Tech, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical) or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Food/Chemical/Oil & Fats or Oleo Chemical processing industry is required for this position. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Able to work with other departments to achieve Company's objective and targets.

Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
