Job summary

MFS Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Batu Berendam, Melaka, seeks a dedicated Process Control Engineer to design, implement, and optimise process control systems across our manufacturing operations.

You will monitor real-time process data, perform audits, collaborate with production, maintenance and QA, and develop documentation, SOPs, and specifications to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Process/Chemical/Mechanical or related).
• 3–5 years of experience in process control in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Proficiency with PLCs, SCADA and industrial automation software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop process control strategies to optimise production efficiency and quality.
• Monitor real-time process parameters and implement corrective actions on deviations.
• Conduct process audits and studies to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and QA to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop, test and validate process control documentation, SOPs and specs.
• Commission and troubleshoot control systems (PLCs/SCADA) and instrumentation.
• Provide technical support and training on process control systems.
