Job summary

OUS Group of Companies is seeking a dynamic Process & Production Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. The role focuses on enhancing production output through plant design, technical evaluation, and strategic planning, with close collaboration across cross-functional teams to develop process flow diagrams, instrumentation layouts, and technical documentation.

You will lead R&D of efficient plant processes in mining, ensure safety and quality, and monitor system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mineral resources engineering, geology, or geoscience.
• Hands-on mining experience is an advantage.
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven problem solver with a proactive mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of efficient plant processes to optimize mining output.
• Deliver technically sound results with minimal rework, aligned to project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring of production systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues to minimize downtime.
• Uphold safety and health compliance, proactively identifying production risks.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production processes and equipment for maximum efficiency and quality.
