Job summary

HID Global in Bandar Indahpura, Malaysia, is seeking a Printshop Manager to lead the printroom operations for screen and offset printing. You will manage a team of printers, coordinate workflow across departments, and ensure high-quality, timely production of printed materials.

This role reports to the Site Managing Director with a dotted line to a global competence leader. Ideal candidates have extensive lithographic print industry experience, 3–5 years in a supervisory role, and strong

Qualifications

• Extensive lithographic print industry experience.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proficiency with printing equipment and software (print-data manipulation, plate manufacturing).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage pre-laminate and card printing operations (PVC, PC, PETG).
• Lead and supervise a team of printers; train and ensure procedural compliance.
• Coordinate print workflow with customer service, production, planning and purchasing.
• Oversee daily card production including tape layer, CTP, collation, screen and offset printing.
• Ensure quality control, color fidelity and on-time delivery.
• Maintain inventory of printing supplies and liaise with supply chain.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide guidance on best practices.
