Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Technical Coordinator to support the Technical Manager on a high-profile Penang LRT infrastructure project. The role focuses on coordinating design submissions, technical documentation, and site queries to ensure smooth execution.

You will supervise technical engineers, manage RFIs, prepare method statements, and distribute critical documents to site and HQ teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
5–6 years of experience; bridge/railway design experience in consultancy is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and engineering software.
Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Result-oriented, energetic and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Supervise Technical Engineers in daily tasks and assist Technical Manager with site queries and design submissions.
Coordinate and review design submissions from consultants, subcontractors and alternative proposals.
Manage RFIs and resolve technical queries from site and consultants.
Submit design deliverables for approval.
Prepare technical method statements and assist in project-related documentation and correspondence.
Distribute drawings, reports and technical documents to site and HQ teams.
Attend technical meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams as required.
Support QA/QC with ITPs, review test results and coordinate investigations as needed.
Maintain project registers and ensure proper documentation control.
