Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Civil/Structural engineer to support the Construction/Project Manager with daily site operations, coordination, and progress tracking. The role involves preparing and consolidating project documentation and creating and maintaining work schedules.

The ideal candidate will monitor material usage, liaise with Consultants and Subcontractors on technical matters, review drawings and RFIs, and verify site progress to prepare monthly progress claims.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient in relevant engineering or project management tools.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate, supervise, guide, and motivate site teams effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist the Construction/Project Manager with daily site operations, coordination, and tracking project progress.
Prepare and consolidate project documentation.
Create and maintain work schedules.
Monitor material usage to identify wastage and implement corrective measures when needed.
Liaise with Consultants, Subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical matters, review revised drawings, and ensure work complies with approved construction drawings and RFIs.
Verify site progress, conduct joint measurements, and prepare claim-related documents for submission to the Contracts Department for monthly progress claims.
