Projek Rapid Transit Aliran Ringan (LRT) Pulau Pinang-Laluan Mutiara

Preferred candidates with hands‑on experience in LRT/MRT infrastructure projects and based in Penang.

Job Purpose

The PT Engineer is responsible for coordinating and executing post‑tensioning (PT) works, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The role works closely with the Construction Manager, PT Manager, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor PT works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Assist in planning PT activities, manpower, equipment, materials, and work schedules.

Review drawings and technical documents, and coordinate shop drawings and submissions.

Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.

Conduct site inspections and ensure PT works meet quality, safety, and technical requirements.

Prepare and maintain PT records, inspection requests, method statements, and technical documentation.

Monitor material availability, project progress, and potential technical or construction risks.

Support testing, commissioning, handover, and other project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction project execution and engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Willingness to learn construction methods, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documentation.

Experience in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications is preferred.

Exposure to procurement, material approvals, and vendor coordination is an advantage.

Good technical problem‑solving, analytical, and risk assessment skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
