Job summary

Lyreco Singapore Malaysia is seeking a Pricing and Sourcing Specialist to drive profitability through pricing strategy, cost management and supplier collaboration. You will align pricing with category goals and support the end-to-end margin picture.

Responsibilities include pricing structure development, bid analytics, SAP data governance, and strategic sourcing to optimize value and continuity across the supply base.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain with exposure to Data Analytics or Finance.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and strong negotiation and commercial thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, well-versed in verbal and written communication in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Pricing strategy & execution: Develop and implement pricing structures aligned with category strategy.
• Pricing performance: Monitor and manage price realization and leakage.
• Pricing adjustments: Support price adjustments due to cost changes and market competitiveness.
• Costing & margin: Analyze cost structures and margin performance at SKU and category level; run what-if simulations.
• Market benchmarking: Benchmark against key brands and market alternatives; validate pricing through internal systems.
• System & data governance: Maintain pricing and costing accuracy in SAP; ensure policy compliance.
• Sourcing: Lead RFQ/RFP processes and cost benchmarking; identify substitution opportunities and cost-down ideas.

Pricing Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement pricing structures aligned with category strategy
• Monitor and manage: Pricing performance, Price realization and leakage
• Support price adjustments : Cost Changes , Market competitiveness
• Costing & Margin Management : Analyze cost structures and margin performance at SKU and category level , Conduct what-if simulations: Price increase , pass thru and promotional initiatives
• Market & Competitive Benchmarking : Benchmark against key brands and market alternatives , Pricing Validation thru internal pricing clawing system
• System & Data Governance : Maintain pricing and costing accuracy in SAP Ensure compliance with pricing policies and audit requirements

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Lead sourcing activities : RFQ / RFP processes, Cost benchmarking
• Strategic Sourcing for Substitution opportunities , Cost-down alternatives

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain, with exposure to Data Analytics or Finance, and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and strong negotiation and commercial thinking skills, with sourcing experience
• Effective communicator, well-versed in verbal and written communication in English and the native language
• Relevant working experience with the ability to understand margin and pricing logic, including: Supplier or commercial exposure Understanding of trade terms (rebates, MOQs, credit terms) Knowledge of markup and cost pass-through concepts
