Job summary

Lyreco is seeking a strategic Supply Chain leader to oversee Malaysia and Singapore operations, directing warehouse, delivery, and demand planning. You will mentor four managers, drive cost efficiency, and improve service levels across the end-to-end chain.

You will develop robust strategies, oversee forecasting, and align cross-functional teams to meet customer needs while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• A Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is preferred.
• Expertise in warehouse operations, logistics management, and demand planning.
• Advanced knowledge of supply chain software (e.g., ERP, SAP).
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Advance skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Enable body and fit to engage outdoor activities on regular basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with proven track record of managing warehouse, delivery, and supply-demand functions.
• Salary range between MYR13k-MYR15k

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery Manager in developing and implementing strategies for timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Supervise the Supply Demand Manager to balance supply and demand through forecasting and planning.
• Lead and mentor the team across warehouse, delivery, and supply-demand functions with clear goals and metrics.
• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements across supply chain functions.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing) to ensure alignment and timely product delivery.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Handle ad hoc tasks related to business development as assigned.

Job description

This is a strategic leadership role in Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations and ensure the seamless coordination between various key functions. This role will oversee warehouse management, delivery management, and the supply and demand function, with direct responsibility for managing the performance and development of four managers: Warehouse Manager Malaysia & Singapore, Delivery Manager, and Supply Demand Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in supply chain leadership, with expertise in optimizing operations, improving customer service, and driving cost efficiencies.

Warehouse Management

Oversee the Warehouse Managers for both Malaysia & Singapore, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and dispatching of goods.

• Implement best practices for inventory management to ensure optimal product availability and minimize storage costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations within warehouse operations.
• Optimize warehouse layouts and processes to increase productivity and maintain high service levels.

Delivery Management

Lead the Delivery Manager in developing and implementing strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to customers.

• Ability to deliver effective strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to customers.
• Effectiveness and efficiency of the use of third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers in improving transportation and delivery costs.
• Monitor performance metrics for on-time delivery, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, making adjustments as needed.

Supply & Demand Management

Supervise the Supply Demand Manager to ensure the balance of supply and demand is achieved through effective forecasting and planning.

• Oversee the accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and merchandizing teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize inventory levels, ensuring the right amount of stock is available without overstocking or stockouts.
• Strong monitoring and action in place in managing slow moving or non moving stock effectively to prevent lost to company cost.

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead and mentor the Warehouse Managers for Malaysia & Singapore, Delivery Manager and Supply Demand Manager, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Ensure each manager has clear goals and performance metrics, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
• Drive the professional growth of the supply chain team, ensuring they have the tools and skills necessary to succeed.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve supply chain efficiency.

Strategic Planning and Execution

• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and increased operational efficiency across all supply chain functions.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of products to meet customer needs.

Risk Management and Compliance
