Job summary

Altera is seeking a Business Operations Analyst in Penang to enable the company's pricing governance, channel operations, quoting support, and analytics initiatives. You will partner with Sales, Finance, IT, and Marketing to ensure compliant processes and enable revenue growth.

You will validate commercial transactions against pricing strategies, manage master data, and drive reporting automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and data-driven decision making across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Business Operations, Sales Operations, Pricing, Commercial Operations, Customer Operations, Finance or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, Model N or equivalent CRM/ERP platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or Data visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & Commercial Operations: Manage and process distributor pricing, verify requests against agreements and policies.
• Business Support: primary contact for pricing inquiries; train on pricing processes and tools.
• Governance & Master Data: maintain data quality and assist audits.
• Analytics & Reporting: develop dashboards and KPIs; support forecasting and management reporting.
• Systems & Automation: define requirements, support UAT, drive automation and system enhancements.
