Job summary

Guocera Sdn Bhd is seeking a maintenance/production technician to oversee daily operation and performance of press machines in a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Johor. You will monitor parameters, analyze data and drive corrective actions to boost productivity and quality.

Ideal candidates hold a diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical engineering with at least 2 years in manufacturing. Strong PLC/HMI knowledge and preventive maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment; tile/building materials experience preferred.
Knowledge of press machines, hydraulic systems, automation controls, sensors, PLC, and HMI.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operation and performance of press machines to meet targets and quality.
Monitor machine parameters, analyze production data, and implement corrective actions to optimize productivity and minimize defects.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automation issues to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for press equipment and related systems.
Lead root cause analysis for process and equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
Support setup, commissioning, parameter tuning, mold changes, and process validation.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while maintaining a safe environment.
Prepare technical reports, monitor equipment performance trends, and propose improvement plans.
