Job summary

Ministry of Education Malaysia in Malaysia seeks an experienced Student Support Coordinator – Preschools to lead SEN, inclusion, and early intervention across eight campuses.

You will build and supervise the SSD specialist team, identify needs early, coach teachers, and partner with parents and external specialists to ensure consistent support. This multi-campus leadership role requires deep knowledge of inclusive pedagogy and UDL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Needs Education, Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of education experience, preferably in Early Years and student support.
• Experience in staff supervision, coaching, or team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of SEN, early intervention, inclusive education, and UDL.
• Familiarity with EYFS, IEYC, Mandarin curricula or Kurikulum Prasekolah 2026 is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEN and inclusion provision across eight preschool campuses.
• Mentor and develop the SSD specialist team.
• Support early identification, assessment, intervention, and monitoring of children with additional needs.
• Provide guidance and, where appropriate, direct support through in-class and targeted interventions.
• Lead teacher training and coaching in inclusive pedagogy and UDL.
• Work with Therapists and other specialists to implement recommendations in the classroom.
• Build positive partnerships with parents and support student transitions.
• Ensure consistent documentation, intervention planning, progress monitoring, and reporting across campuses.
• Promote a child-centred, inclusive culture across the preschool network.
