Job summary

Apeiro Networks Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Presales professional to drive growth across telecommunications, enterprise networking, and data center markets in Malaysia. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, crafting tailored technical solutions, and supporting the sales process from proposal to delivery.

The ideal candidate has a formal engineering degree and at least two years in telecom or data center environments, with strong DWDM, Metro Ethernet, and security knowledge,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in telecommunications, networking, data center, system integration, technical sales, or business development.
• Experience developing business opportunities and managing customers in telecom, enterprise, or data center industries.
• Strong knowledge of DWDM, Metro Ethernet, carrier networks, data center networking, cloud connectivity, firewalls, and network security.
• Experience with carriers, ISPs, enterprises, government agencies, or hyperscale data centers is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, collaborative, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across telecom, ISP, carrier, enterprise, and data centre markets.
• Understand customer requirements and develop practical, commercially viable networking solutions.
• Prepare proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, presentations, and technical-commercial documentation.
• Support customer meetings, workshops, product demonstrations, PoCs, and technical evaluations.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and sales teams to ensure successful solution delivery and project handover.
• Provide technical support during project execution and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
• Keep up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor solutions.
• Build relationships with customers, system integrators, consultants, operators, and technology partners.
