Job summary

MVC Resources in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a technically proficient pre-sales consultant to support the Sales team by providing expert consultation, assessments, and solution qualification during engagements. You will design CDN and cloud security solutions, conduct POCs, and deliver compelling demonstrations to prospects.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to tailor proposals, respond to RFQs, and help shape product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Mandarin language proficiency is required.
• 3–10 years in customer-facing pre-sales or post-sales roles.
• Solid understanding of CDN, DNS, HTTP, DDoS and TCP/IP concepts.
• Basic Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to provide technical consultation in pre-sales engagements, including evaluations, objections handling, troubleshooting, and follow-up.
• Design and propose CDN and cloud security solutions based on customer requirements.
• Develop technical solution documents, run POCs, and respond to RFQs/RFPs and tenders.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations on CDN and security integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to relay customer needs and feedback for roadmaps.
• Support emerging products and technologies, including AI gateway and related infrastructure solutions.

Job Description

• Partner with the Sales team to provide technical consultation and solution qualification during the pre-salesengagement process, including technical evaluations, objection handling, troubleshooting, and customerfollow-up.
  


• Design and propose solutions based on customer requirements, primarily covering CDN, DynamicAcceleration, DNS, DDoS Protection, WAF, Bot Management, and other cloud/network security solutions.
  


• Develop technical solution documents and proposals, conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and providetechnical responses for RFQs/RFPs and tenders.
  


• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations, explaining how CDN and security solutionscan be integrated into customers' architectures and operations.
  


• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to communicatecustomer requirements and provide feedback for product development and technology roadmaps.
  


• Support and develop technical understanding of emerging products and technologies, including AI Gatewayand AI-related infrastructure solutions.
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken).
  


• Open to those with 3-10 years' working experience in customer-facing pre-sales or post-sales position.
  


• Good understanding of technical concepts such as CDN, DNS, HTTP, DDoS, TCP/IP etc.
  


• Basic knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals.
  


• Must be able to travel local & international.
