Job summary

Laoxiangji Dining (Msia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking Kitchen Assistant staff to support daily food preparation and cooking in a fast-paced kitchen. You will wash, chop, and portion ingredients, assist chefs with assembling dishes, and maintain hygiene per safety standards.

This role requires Malaysian citizenship, basic qualifications, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Fresh graduates with a strong learning attitude are welcome to apply and learn authentic Chinese cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, washing, chopping, portioning according to recipes and safety standards.
• Assist in cooking and assembling menu items following recipes to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen workspace and proper food handling.
• Adhere to Halal requirements and food safety regulations at all times.
• Handle, store, label, and rotate products to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and restocking.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
