Job summary

SICK SDN BHD is seeking a Production Supervisor to organize and schedule manufacturing activities in Malaysia, ensuring orders are completed on plan and delivered on time. The role involves quality compliance, issue resolution with process/quality engineers, and cost optimization.

You will motivate operators, provide training, and lead line leaders while coordinating with other departments to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in production or engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience as production supervisor / coordinator.
• Good analytical ability and problem-solving.
• Organized, independent and team player.
• Willing to take the challenges.

Responsibilities

• Organize and schedule production activities to meet orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance to quality standards and requirements.
• Resolve quality issues and improve product reliability with process and quality engineers.
• Optimize production methods, manpower and materials to reduce wastage and costs.
• Motivate operators and technicians to maintain productivity and quality.
• Provide regular training and coaching to enhance capability and performance.
• Maintain discipline and good housekeeping practices.
• Monitor productivity, yield and scrap costs and ensure targets are met.
• Collaborate with other departments to keep production running smoothly.
• Lead line leaders and assistant supervisors; report to Production Manager.
