Job summary

HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Premier Relationship Manager to lead a portfolio of high-value clients. You will deliver tailored wealth guidance, strengthen client relationships and drive growth with a focus on quality service.

The role requires a tertiary degree, at least five years in financial services or retail sales, and licenses such as CFP, PCE, MTA or IPPC. You will collaborate with branch teams to achieve targets and uphold group standards.

Qualifications

• A recognized tertiary Diploma / Degree qualification.
• Minimum of five (5) years proven and progressive financial services and / or retail sales experience or equivalent.
• Evidence of strong sales results in insurance and investment products.
• Relationship management experience with high net worth clients.
• Strong technical skills in wealth management.
• Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills.
• Strong sales orientation, networking and portfolio management skills.
• Sound knowledge of financial services products and services and the client relationship management system.
• Understand of business banking client segment and products and services.
• Licenses: CFP, PCE, MTA and IPPC.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Premier customers with full reviews and needs assessment.
• Acquire new HSBC customers and upgrade to Premier.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and build loyalty.
• Ensure service levels and compliance with TOM and group standards.
• Collaborate with branch and direct teams to meet performance targets.
• Refer wealth reviews to wealth advisers as needed.
