Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking an assembler in Penang/Batu Kawan, Malaysia. You will collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to assemble electronics, electro-mechanical and mechanical components.

Duties include wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing, while ensuring compliance with blueprint specifications. The role requires at least 2 years of related experience and a Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
• Hands-on experience with electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform various electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing.
• Make set-ups and adjustments to hold tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
