Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor for the Powder Coating Department in Ulu Tiram, Johor. The role supports daily operations, supervises a small team, and ensures timely, quality coating of sheet metal parts.

You will operate and maintain powder coating equipment, monitor thickness and curing, enforce safety, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in sheet metal or coating operations and a related SPM qualification.

Qualifications

• SPM or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the sheet metal industry.
• Basic knowledge of powder coating processes.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to handle hands-on production and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in managing daily operations in the powder coating department.
• Operate powder coating equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Prepare, clean, and handle sheet metal parts before the coating process.
• Monitor coating quality, thickness, finishing, and curing process.
• Ensure products meet the required quality and production standards.
• Identify and report coating or production issues to the Supervisor.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of powder coating equipment.
• Ensure the workstation is clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
• Assist with packing, loading, and other production activities when required.
• Guide and support production workers in completing daily tasks.
• Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and production requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,000 per month
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

An established and expanding manufacturing company specializing in sheet metal fabrication is looking for an Assistant Supervisor to support daily operations in the Powder Coating Department.
