Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Malaysia seeks a Precision Assembler to prepare and document assembly work, assemble equipment and tools, and perform test requirements. The role also covers disassembly, cleaning, inspection and reassembly during repairs.

You will access modern materials and tools to deliver high-quality products to customers. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in mechanical assembly, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (SPM acceptable), and the stamina to stand for long periods and lift

Qualifications

• Background in the mechanical industry.
• 1–2 years in mechanical assembly; sand blasting is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivation, willingness to learn, and strong work ethics.
• Basic data input of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work overtime and weekends if needed.

Precision Assembler

Your Roleand Impact

The Precision Assembler will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements. Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating basic equipment and carry out routine tasks.
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
• Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance.
• Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing ofoneself and others.
• Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
• Exchange information with people by having courteous interactions with them.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and physically fit to safely lift up to, 10kg.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• With a background in the mechanical industry,
• 1-2 years working experience in mechanical assembly, sand blasting will be a plus.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / SPM and / or 0-2 years relevant experience.(Mechatronic is a plus)
