Job summary

SLB is seeking an assembler to join the team in Malaysia, responsible for assembling products and equipment following routing, drawings, and procedures. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety and adherence to training development toward critical tasks such as pressure testing.

As you progress, you will receive additional training to perform more complex duties while meeting the company’s safety, quality and production standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in assembly, testing, repairing and servicing of oil and gas equipment in relevant industry, or 3–5 years in heavy machinery industry.

Responsibilities

• Complete the training and assessment requirements for the Assembler role set by the Department.
• Read and understand Routing, Engineering Drawings, Bill of Material, Test Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Assemble products and equipment according to routing, drawings, and procedures.
• Conduct testing of products and equipment according to routing and procedures.
• Troubleshoot problems during assembly and testing.
• Perform any other related departmental functions as assigned by the Department Manager/Supervisor.
• Support departmental objectives and KPIs set by Management.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Adhere to all company and legal requirements as per the Johor-WI-A03-Roles, Responsibilities, Accountability and Authority (HSSE) document.
