Cloud Telecommunications (M) Sdn Bhd, located in Johor Bahru, is expanding its team to drive pre-sales engineering for telecom connectivity solutions in Malaysia and the region.

The role involves collaborating with sales and technical teams to design and propose network and security solutions, support in closing orders, and ensure smooth deployment from planning through commissioning. Based at Menara MSC Cyberport, the candidate will help maximise network performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Telecommunications or related field.
• Ability to design and propose telecom/network connectivity solutions.
• Experience in pre-sales activities and customer engagement.
• Based in Johor Bahru with willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sales in closing new orders.
• Performing pre-sales activities, engaging customer for solutioning.
• Supports in implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks and or Projects.
• Supports configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security.
• Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Supports investigation of any network faults.
• Supports updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
• Supports installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of Systems, including Operating Systems, Applications Software and System Management Tools for projects.

Cloud Telecommunications (S) Pte Ltd (Cloud Telecom), is an FBO (Facilities-Based Operations) Telco in Singapore. We build and own underground telecom pipes and dark fibres in strategic locations in Singapore such as subsea cable landing hub and data centre hub.

We provide next generation telecom connectivity services including Internet Services, Data Centre Interconnect (DCI), Backhaul, last-mile Local Loop services connecting commercial buildings, IP Transit / DIA and other telco services in Singapore in delivering 400G, 100G, 10G and 1G bandwidth connectivity to SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises), global telcos, CDN Operators (Content Delivery Network), Cloud Service Providers and Enterprise customers in Singapore.

The successful candidate will work closely with our sales and technical teams to design and propose telecommunications and network connectivity solutions that meet customer requirements while supporting business growth in Malaysia and the region.

Pre-Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities:
