Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a PR Account Manager (Senior Manager/Director) for our Kuala Lumpur office. The role focuses on leading client relationships, strategic communications, and end-to-end PR campaigns within a leading Marketing Communications agency.

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years in PR or events, strong media relations, and fluency in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Chinese for reporting to Chinese-speaking management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in PR, communications, or events industry.
• Strong media relations and client servicing experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts and understand client business objectives and provide strategic communications advice.
• Lead end-to-end execution of PR campaigns, media relations, and events. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
• Support development of PR and communications strategies and oversee media outreach, press releases, influencer engagement, and content development.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports.
• Provide insights and recommendations for campaign improvement.
• Supervise and mentor Account Executives / Account Managers; delegate tasks effectively and review team output.
• Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts and support pitching for new business and proposal development.

Working hour: 9:30am - 6:30pm (Mon - Friday)
