Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Account Executive role based in Selangor, Malaysia. The Account Executive will support day-to-day client account management, including coordinating and executing public relations, digital, and social media activities. Responsibilities include drafting media materials, preparing client reports, monitoring media coverage, and supporting the planning and implementation of campaigns. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, managing timelines and deliverables, and contributing ideas for integrated communications strategies. The Account Executive will also assist with event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and basic administrative tasks related to client accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and writing skills, including the ability to draft press releases, briefs, and client reports clearly and accurately.
• Understanding of public relations, digital marketing, and social media platforms, with the ability to support integrated communications campaigns.
• Good organizational and project coordination skills, including managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, media, and partners, demonstrating responsiveness and service-oriented behavior.
• Analytical skills to monitor media coverage, interpret campaign performance, and contribute insights to optimize communications strategies.
• Proficiency in common office and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms).
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior internship or work experience in an agency, communications, or marketing environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Selangor, Malaysia, in a fast-paced team environment, with professionalism and adaptability to different industries.
