Job summary

VHR Consultancy in Malaysia seeks an engineer to manage commercial and project execution for Power Transformer and GIS servicing projects. You will handle quotations, cost and margin control, supplier coordination, and project documentation, invoicing, payment collection, and closeout.

You will work with customers, EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure contractual, financial, and delivery requirements are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Approximately five years of experience in electrical equipment sales, commercial engineering, or project execution.
Experience with TNB, utilities, EPC contractors, or data centre projects is an advantage.
Knowledge of tendering, cost estimation, project documentation, contract terms, invoicing, and payment collection.
Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and financial management skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Commercial & Quotation Management: prepare technical and commercial quotations with cost breakdowns and terms.
Project Execution & Coordination: coordinate purchase orders, schedules, and documentation for project execution.
Invoicing & Project Closeout: prepare invoices, monitor receivables, and manage project closeout.
