Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services in Malaysia is seeking a Tender Engineer to manage and prepare high quality engineered proposals and tender responses for power generation projects. You will collaborate with global Project Managers, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure competitive costing and timely submissions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, extensive costing experience, and the ability to develop supplier networks.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing engineering tenders and RFQ submissions.
• Ability to coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain and PMU.
• Familiarity with OEM equipment and project costing.

Responsibilities

• Review tenders, conduct initial feasibility assessments and determine scope.
• Develop and maintain supplier networks to support competitive pricing.
• Prepare pricing sheets and formal offers for review, using OEM specifications.
• Support Sales with technical assistance in post-submission queries, meetings and presentations.
• Assist with project design and documentation to meet specifications.
