Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage post-contract commercial activities for NMM Civil Projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will review contract documents, BOQ, drawings, and conditions, and support interim progress claims and final accounts.

The role involves site measurements, cost monitoring, VO evaluation, and liaison with clients and subcontractors to ensure compliance and timely close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–6 years in Quantity Surveying with post-contract commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract QS and commercial activities for NMM Civil Projects.
• Review contract documents, BOQ, drawings, specs, and contractual conditions.
• Conduct site measurements to support progress claims and final accounts.
• Monitor costs, commitments, expenditure against budgets and report deviations.
• Evaluate Variation Orders, assess entitlement and valuation per contract.
• Prepare cost reports and provide commercial updates to stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams on commercial matters.
