MFTECH GLOBAL (M) SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Procurement & Sourcing Executive (Post-Award) to manage procurement after project award, ensuring alignment with specs, budget, quality and timeline.
You will liaise with suppliers, issue POs, monitor deliveries, and resolve issues while coordinating with PMO, Accounts and Operations. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong negotiation and numerical skills are valued.
The Procurement & Sourcing Executive (Post-Award) is responsible for managing procurement and purchasing activities after a project has been awarded. The role ensures products and services are procured according to the approved specifications, budget, quality requirements, and project timeline. The position works closely with suppliers and internal departments to secure competitive pricing, manage Purchase Orders, monitor delivery progress, and resolve procurement-related issues to support smooth project implementation.
Manage procurement and purchasing activities for awarded projects.
Review final specifications and confirm purchasing requirements before placing orders.
Source, communicate, and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, availability, and delivery lead time.
Compare supplier quotations and ensure purchases are within the approved project budget.
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and related purchasing documentation.
Monitor supplier performance and follow up closely on order and delivery progress.
Ensure products and services supplied meet the required specifications, quantity, quality, and timeline.
Identify alternative suppliers and recommend solutions when supply, pricing, or delivery issues arise.
Coordinate with PMO, Account, Operations, and other relevant departments on purchasing, payment, and delivery requirements.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and provide procurement progress updates when required.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Purchasing, or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain will be an added advantage.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Good numerical and price comparison skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
